Every Human Being Is At All Times Wrong About Something

No human being has perfect knowledge. Every human being is always wrong about something, or at least partly wrong about something.

This is not a slight against us but just a natural consequence of our physical and intellectual limitations, a consequence of what I laid out in the section on knowledge.
We can only see so far, hear so much, think about so many things at one time, and at a limited level. Even with all of our tools, computers, and machines, we still cannot capture the universe. This is because all of these things are products of ourselves, and since we are limited and prone to making mistakes, so too are our machines.

Moreover, even if the machine was perfect, since the data and knowledge it provides will always require human interpretation for us to make use of it, then again the knowledge will be at least in some part interpreted incorrectly.

This is not a bad thing; it is why science and humanity overall continue to progress, each generation building on what the generation before it laid down and fixing what it got wrong. It is not bad but rather something that we must accept.

And it is something we must realize is true for ourselves—which is something we often do anyway in that we are always humble in ourselves—but it is very important for us to realize that this is true for others, especially those whom we elevate to stations that are higher than ourselves. Especially those whom we attribute perfect knowledge to and set up as leaders above us, such as leading scientists, cultural leaders, politicians, singers, celebrities, people with a lot of money, and especially religious leaders and those who are given other forms of social prestige.

We attribute perfect knowledge to them and often will follow them blindly, belittling ourselves when talking to them. The other reason why it’s good that this incompleteness and imperfection is a truth is that if it were possible for us to gain perfect knowledge, we would have tyrannies beyond anything we could imagine.
It is only by the Grace of God that we are always limited in our knowledge and that no matter what happens, no matter who has power, they will always have things they don’t know and things they are wrong about.

That way there is always a way that others can bring them down and check their power. That way humanity is never fully destroyed, and the weak can be saved.
If it were possible that people could gain perfect knowledge, then once a dictator had gained power, it would be impossible to stand against him due to his perfect knowledge.

We would see a destruction on the level that has never been seen. Every human being would be enslaved, and this state of destruction would last forever since there would be no weakness to their power or knowledge. This is something we must always remember.
