YOU GET USED TO WHATEVER YOU DO
If you’re used to thinking negatively,
Your mind will start doing it automatically—by default.
But you can retrain your mind.
You do it by stopping negative thoughts as they come,
And forcing yourself to think positively instead.
That’s how you begin creating new grooves in your mind.
And over time,
You get used to thinking positive.
It becomes your new normal—your default setting.
And you’ll start doing it all the time,
Even without trying.
Do it.
Take a deep breath too—it helps calm your system.
THE BODY FOLLOWS HABIT
As a rule, it’s easier—and more likely—that we’ll do something
We’ve already done many times before.
This is especially true with the physical body.
For example:
We’re more likely to eat junk food if we’ve gotten used to eating it,
Even though we know it’s bad for us.
We repeat physical behaviors we’re familiar with,
Not because they’re right,
Not because we’re supposed to,
But simply because we’ve done them for a long time.
That doesn’t mean we’re stuck forever.
It just means the pattern is familiar—and we can change it.
REPEAT WHAT YOU WANT TO FEEL NATURAL
We can change.
All we have to do is start practicing the positive behavior—
Doing it again and again,
Until we get used to it.
Eventually, that positive thing becomes normal for us,
Just because we’ve been doing it consistently.
At the same time, we stop doing the negative thing.
And over time, we stop being used to it.
The urge fades,
Because it’s no longer what we do.
It’s no longer normal for us.
THE SAME RULE APPLIES TO YOUR MIND
If this is true for your body,
Then it’s just as true for your mind—
And the way you think.
If you’ve been thinking in a negative, sad, pessimistic, hopeless way,
You’ll keep doing it by habit,
Even when you know it’s not good for you.
Even when you don’t want to.
IT’S NOT BECAUSE THE THOUGHTS ARE TRUE.
IT’S BECAUSE YOUR MIND HAS GOTTEN USED TO THINKING THEM.
SO IT DOES IT ALL THE TIME LIKE A HABIT.
Why?
Because it’s what you’ve gotten used to.
Because your mind has been repeating it for a long time.
YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND PATTERNS
But just like you can change physical behavior,
You can also change your mental behavior.
You can stop thinking in that harmful way.
And you can get used to thinking in a new, positive, hopeful way.
Here’s how:
Remember—these negative thoughts aren’t true.
They’re just habits.
They appear because they’ve been repeated often.
So stop feeding them.
Stop following them.
And instead—force yourself to think positively.
MAKE POSITIVITY YOUR NEW DEFAULT
If you keep doing this,
If you keep choosing positive thoughts over and over,
And stop choosing negative ones—
Then eventually, positive thinking becomes your natural pattern.
It becomes what your mind defaults to.
You do it effortlessly.
Negative thinking fades into the background.
It starts to feel not normal for you.
And you simply don’t do it anymore—
Because it’s not part of who you are now.
YOU ARE NEVER STUCK
If you’re stuck in negative thinking right now,
That does not mean you’re broken.
It just means you’ve practiced a harmful pattern—
And you can start practicing a better one.
You can take control of your mind.
You can rewire it.
You can train it to think in a way
That helps you feel good,
Live better,
And enjoy a higher quality of life.
