Our biology and psychology evolved under group conditions. For literally millions of years we lived always around other people. We shared the existential burden of life. We did not live alone. Our culture gets this terribly wrong. It’s the cause of much of our suffering.
I don’t think its possible to deal with the existential burden of life alone. We literally are not built that way. I could be wrong, but everything I know about biology, psychology and evolution, as well as lived experience demonstrates this to be true.
One of the easiest ways to get improved mental and emotional health (to suffer less) is literally just to be around people more. Move in with your family, live close to friends, get to know your neighbors, join a group, play online games with voice chat – anything. it’ll help
